Good News Is Louder Than Fear

Christmas doesn’t pretend fear isn’t real.
It proclaims that God meets us in the middle of it.

As we move from Christmas Eve into the days ahead, we invite you to carry this good news with you through two simple faith challenges:

1. Practice Quiet Proclamation
This week, choose one intentional way to make good news visible—especially where fear usually dominates.
It might be a word of encouragement, an act of generosity, a refusal to spread anxious or harmful narratives, or a moment of prayer offered for someone who is struggling.
Let your life gently proclaim: God is here.

2. Carry the Light Intentionally
The candlelight of Christmas Eve is not just a moment—it’s a calling.
Each day this week, ask yourself:
Where can I carry Christ’s light into a fearful place—at home, at work, or in my community?
You don’t have to banish the darkness. You are simply asked to bear the light.

May the good news you’ve received continue to shine—quietly, steadily, and boldly.
Fear may be loud. But love is louder.
