“More Than a Map” | John 14:1–7
Jesus didn’t give Thomas a map. He gave him himself — the way, the truth, and the life. And tucked inside that answer are three gifts: a place to belong, a presence to sustain you, and a purpose worth your whole life.
Pick one of the three — whichever one you need most right now:
Struggling to trust the future? Sit with John 14:1–3 each morning this week. You have a place. Pray it back to God: “My future is in your hands, not mine.”
Feeling alone or directionless? Read John 14:6–7 and ask honestly: where am I looking for certainty instead of looking to Christ? Write it down and offer it to him.
Wondering if your life matters? Read John 14:12 and identify one “greater work” — one act of mercy, one honest conversation, one step of faithfulness — and do it before Sunday.
Whichever you choose, end the week with this question — the one Philip’s request puts right in front of us:
When people look at the way I live, do they catch a glimpse of the Father?
