This week's faith challenge is simple — but it will require something of you.

Think of one person in your life who needs someone to show up. Not a grand gesture. Not a perfectly worded card or a carefully planned visit. Just presence. A phone call you have been meaning to make. A door you have been meaning to knock on. A name that keeps coming to mind that you keep setting aside for a better moment.

This week — show up for that person.

And each morning before your feet hit the floor, try this simple prayer:

Lord, show me today who needs me to show up. And give me the courage to do it.

Then pay attention. The person may surprise you. It may be someone you see every day and have stopped really seeing. It may be someone you have been avoiding. It may even be yourself.

We worship a God who has never once failed to show up for us. That same God is sending you to someone this week.
