Over the past six weeks, we have been practicing one simple thing: paying attention to where God already is.
We started in our work — and discovered that holy work is not measured by its size but by the love behind it.
We moved into our homes — and found that God has never waited for us to find a more suitable place to worship. He has always been at home with us.
We showed up for our relationships — and learned that faithful presence is one of the most holy things we can offer another person.
We opened our hands around money — and discovered that generosity is not subtraction. It is participation in God's abundance.
We received the gift of rest — and began to believe, maybe for the first time, that God is enough, this moment is enough, and so are we.
And today we close where all of it was always heading — into community. Into the ordinary, imperfect, grace-filled life we share together.
So here is your final faith challenge. It has two parts.
Part One — Look Back.
Find a quiet moment this week and ask yourself: where did I notice God in the ordinary this month? In your work, your home, your relationships, your finances, your rest? You do not need a journal or a formal practice. Just let yourself remember. Even one moment from each week is enough. The list may surprise you.
Part Two — Look Around.
Identify one person in this community — in this congregation, in your neighborhood, in your daily life — who has been an everyday saint to you. Someone who showed up quietly. Who served without recognition. Who loved without counting the cost. And then tell them. This week. A phone call, a note, a conversation after church. Name what you saw in them. Everyday saints rarely know they are saints. You might be the one who tells them.
That is the whole practice. Look back at where God has been. Look around at who has been carrying his presence into your life.
And then — keep going. Keep practicing. Keep showing up.
The sacred ordinary does not end when the series does. It is just getting started.
